Informed Patients are Happier Patients

Successful laser therapy programs are built on more than advanced technology; they rely on informed patients who understand the value of treatment and feel confident moving forward with care. When patients clearly understand how laser therapy works and why it is being recommended, they are far more likely to commit to treatment and follow through with recommended care plans.

Our team works with practices to develop clear, approachable educational materials that help explain laser therapy in a way patients can easily understand. Below is general information that can be used to help educate your patients about how Class IV laser therapy works and why it may be recommended as part of their treatment plan.

HOW LASER THERAPY WORKS

Class IV laser therapy uses near-infrared light waves to deliver energy to tissue. When this light energy reaches the cells, it stimulates natural biological processes that help the body repair itself more efficiently.

This process, known as photobiomodulation, increases cellular energy production and improves the activity of cells involved in healing. By enhancing these natural cellular functions, laser therapy helps support tissue recovery and overall biological balance.

WHAT LASER THERAPY DOES

Class IV laser therapy works by supporting several natural biological processes within the body. The therapeutic light energy interacts with cells to improve their function and stimulate normal repair mechanisms.

By increasing cellular energy production and encouraging healthy biological activity, laser therapy helps reduce inflammatory activity, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing environment.
